Chapter 20

From the day Ha Ji Won stays in the hospital, Ji Sung rarely goes to the company but just standing by her side to take care of her.

Today is the same too, he is sitting on the chair to peel fruits for Ha Ji Won. But after wakes up, Ha Ji Won doesn’t talk often but just sits blankly on the bed. Her memories still haven’t restored yet so she is very scared when interacting with strangers.

“Do you want to go out to walk for a while?” Ji Sung gives her some fruits and asks. 

Till this time, Ha Ji Won just raises her face to look at him...a moment later she nods. Although don’t know who is he but few days he is always beside her so she has no any awareness with him.

Seeing Ha Ji Won accepts the suggestion, Ji Sung is very happy. He quickly goes to find a wheelchair because her health is still weak. Could go out to breathe fresh air so her feelings gets better a lot. 

“Previously…you and me are friend, aren’t we?” sitting on the wheelchair, Ha Ji Won unexpectedly asks.

Ji Sung grabs her hands and shakes his head.

“No…don’t you remember Ji Won, we are lovers...” he smiles agently as possible.
“Lovers?” Ha Ji Won whispers
“So why did I catch accident?” she looks straight to his eyes to question.

Being stared like that, Ji Sung feels unnatural. Her pure eyes seem having a magic to make people feel guilty if talking the lies to her. Ji Sung doesn’t dare to look at it too long.

“It’s totally my fault…before you and me have an argument…because of saving me you got this hurt…so sorry …”
“So that is…” Ha Ji Won is thinking about everything he talks
“Yes it’s true…and from the childhood, we live together already”

Said then he takes a picture out for her to see.

“Look…this 10yrs little girl is you, we often play around together and you always likes to follow me anywhere….”
“That time……”

The more she listens the more she feels maybe what he is talking is the truth. Moreover if she doesn’t love him why has to pay all her lives to save him. Just so, Ha Ji Won continues to hear Ji Sung not hesitant telling about the childhood of the two.

Loot at the way Ha Ji Won focuses to listen his story, Ji Sung has thought his plan is going on favorably. The day she returns to his side is not so far.

After walking, on the way back to the room, they suddenly hear a cry nearby. Ah so that is a boy crying because his balloon is hanging on the tree.

“Poor that baby…” Ha Ji Won exclaims

Because intending to gain more Ha Ji Won’s sympathy so Ji Sung is very eager to do good things. Normally he even doesn’t take a look.

“Stay here…I will go there to take the balloon for that baby boy”

Ji Sung climbs on the tree to get the ball down while Ha Ji Won keeps telling him be careful. The boy is very happy, he laughs to say thank to them. Seeing his happiness, Ha Ji Won is also happy to smile.

When these two reach the room, Mrs Lee already stayed there. Today she takes Shi Woo along and she quickly takes Shi Woo out to greet her coming.

“Lady Ha…you are back”

Shi Woo now is just a toddler but his steps seem very strong. Seeing his mother, he slowly approaches to hug her legs.

“Omma…”

Ha Ji Won is surprised to look at him, don’t know why but when seeing this baby she feels very close. 

“Who is this baby?” she smiles kindly to stroke his head.

Ji Sung countenance is very unpleasant, especially when he saw Shi Woo, the baby has the same appearance with Ji Chang Wook.

He talks coldly.

“What do you come here to do?”

Mrs Lee feels unhappy with Ji Sung’s behavior, she hurriedly explains to Ha Ji Won.

“Lady Ha…don’t you even remember the young master? He is your…” 

Not finish the sentence, Ji Sung interrupts her talk. 

“Mrs Lee…at this time Ji Won needs to rest, her spirit can’t be lampooned too much...let say this later.”

Although doesn’t want to listen to him but because of Ha Ji Won’ health, Mrs Lee has to shut up.

But Shi Woo turns to cry when Ha Ji Won doesn’t embrace him as usual, seems the boy is asking mother. Don’t know because of Shi Woo’s appearance or his cry, suddenly Ha Ji Won feels headache.

“My head…too painful…” she touches her head to whimper.
“Ji Won…are you ok?”
“Bring him back, his cry will affect to Ji Won, don’t you know?” Ji Sung is impatient to ask Mrs Lee.

No choice, Mrs Lee has to bring Shi Woo who is crying to go home.
 
“Are you better yet?...or I call Doctor?”
“Alright! I think no problem, take a rest is ok” Ha Ji Won smiles to reassure him.
“So quickly lay down…” 

After help her to lay on the bed, Ji Sung reads some stories for Ha Ji Won easily go to sleep.

At Jeju Island

Ji Chang Wook wakes up and sees Bayan lying to sleep beside him. He feels impossible because even he can’t remember anything at all.

“Aww…damn it!” he cursed

Doesn’t want to think about it anymore, Ji Chang Wook hastily dresses up and go down on the bed but just in time Bayan’s voice rings out.

“You wake up already…throughout last night…you made me so tired Chang Wook ahh”

Ji Chang Wook’s body is stiff, he turns around to look at Bayan is lying on the bed and showing a fascinating position to talk to him.

“Me and you…no way…” he immediately denies it
“Up to you trust or not…anyway it’s the truth, don’t worry I won’t tell Ha Ji Won…”

She walks down to approach Ji Chang Wook and even dares to touch his chest.

“Just…let me stay with you sometimes is ok”

Ji Chang Wook pushes her hand away and shout out

“Shut up!…later you better don’t talk anything bad, do you remember?”

Said then he leaves.

Although speaks boldly but Ji Chang Wook still feels too insecure. He doesn’t want to stay here more so he hurries to back to Seoul.
