Empress Ki MV: TaNyang MV "To The Butterfly"

Using OST "To The Butterfly" by Ji Chang Wook, this MV is purely fanservice from MBC to TaNyang shippers and "Empress Ki" viewers.

This MV is a highlight of Ta Hwan's and Seung Nyang's journey together from their first meeting until their first night aka ohlala. The MV opens with Ta Hwan's sad speech to Seung Nyang that he regards her as his mother bird. Even though she didn't reciprocate his feelings at that moment, she clearly affected and moved by his speech. Then the MV tells us the story of TaNyang Couple from their first meeting when Seung Nyang mistakenly thought Ta Hwan was a thief, then their relationship grew in Daechong Island, to their meeting again in the Yuan Palace and how their relationship evolved, from just an emperor and his servant/palace maid, to emperor and the concubine. But it's not as simple as an emperor and the subject because Seung Nyang never bows down to Ta Hwan, instead Ta Hwan makes every effort that his love would be noticed and eventually reciprocated. 'Cause unrequited love sucks, and just until 34 episodes, much longer than your usual kdramas, Seung Nyang gives her all to Ta Hwan. It was sweet and deserved one for Ta Hwan who has longed for Seung Nyang from the day he knew he love her.
