TaNyang Weekly (30/11/2014)

A good week for us and (hopefully) continues for the next next weeks! Let’s start with fishy news updates first!

1. If there’s one vocal group in the entire Korea we are thankful of, it’s 2Bic(투픽). 2BiC stands for “2Bi Continue”, expressing their determination to continue doing music together and consists of two members — Jihwan and Junhyung. Apparently Ji Chang Wook is a big fan of them and even has their autographs. Last Tuesday Ji Chang Wook updates his Instagram, writing (only on twitter) that 2Bic finally releases new songs. He screencapped the tracks and the songs happen to be “If We Love again” (우리 다시 사랑한다면) and “Live together with me?” (나랑 같이 살래?) (English title is “Marry You”). “If We Love Again” is a ballad song, with sweet melody and a bit orchestra playing. 

The lyrics is about a man who reminisces his memory with his ex-girlfriend and now that he finally understand his love for her, he wonders if they can love again. Somehow suddenly Ji Chang Wook updates about love song? Of course our delulu mind is activated because of the two songs and I decided to create a fanvid, based on JiJi’s interaction, Empress Ki and Northcape BTS. Enjoy the fanvid!

And if 2Bic stands for “2 Bi Continue” let’s hope it’s good sign for us that JiJi’s story is to be continued. *delulu*

2. Massive delulu attack continues, just as our friends in Jichangwook’s Kitchen decided to provide sub to MBC Section TV where both Ji Chang Wook and Ha Ji Won featured in it. I love how they took turns to pick each other. Ha Ji Won picked Ji Chang Wook as a man she wants to hiking with, while Ji Chang Wook chose Ha Ji Won as his ideal type out of 3 women in Empress Ki (the other two is Kim Seo Hyung and Baek Jin Hee). Above all, I really love their smile and laughter, their laughter is so infectious that I can’t help but laugh with them. (JCW Kitchen)

3. News from Ha Ji Won’s side, she will attend the HOPE + Charity Baseball match event on Dec 7. She will do the opening pitch and many other celebs are expected to take part in it. If she needs any partner or baseball coach, she can just call Ji Chang Wook. As he seems also enjoy baseball. (HJW soompi) 

4. On November 28, Ha Ji Won’s sister uploaded an Instagram picture consist of Ha Ji Won and her family (her mother and 2 sisters). You can just take a look at the picture and it will answer your question about Ha Ji Won’s beauty secret. Isn’t the good gene too good to waste? They only need good son in-law who can take care Ha Ji Won and matches her beauty. Like someone who declares he’s like her manager already... (chicandchick IG) 

5. While Ji Chang Wook is busy pulling double duty in musical “The Days” and drama “Healer”. This week he invites “Healer” scriptwriter and lead actor Yoo Ji Tae. Ha Ji Won’s staff also happens to watch “The Days” at that day. That explains why his face is really bright, so different than last week when he’s sick. Yoo Ji Tae also has some connection with Ha Ji Won. He’s her sunbae in Dankook University (and automatically Ji Chang Wook’s sunbae too). He also acted with her twice, in movies “Ditto” and “Nightmare”. Can he be their matchmaker too? Hahaha (chouchouchoi IG, Namoo Actors) 

6. Northcape, or the photographer behind it, decides to release some more photoshoot BTS. At this rate, we will see their winter CF in summer. LOL. Okay, maybe there’s no winter CF after all, as TaNyang fans already boycotted them and not buy anything from Trollcape. On the bright side, Ji Chang Wook looks as handsome as ever, albeit looks a bit tired. (rianse naver blog) 

7. “Empress Ki” is the second most searched TV program in South Korea during Jan-Nov 2014 on Daum. It only lost to other highly popular drama “You From Another Star”. This survey is reported by TopStarNews this week. They also reported that Ha Ji Won is on Top 10 list most searched figure in Korea. Congrats to Empress Ki! A bit sad news “Empress Ki” won’t be nominated on MBC Drama Awards this year because it was nominated last year. Since there’s no other awards show this coming December means we don’t see JiJi on red carpet this year. (TopStar News) 

8. Ha Ji Won will release photobook collection “Ha Ji Won’s Secret” on Jan 17, 2015. The photos are taken in Taiwan and she looks really gorgeous. She will also release Japanese Fanmeeting DVD as well. For anyone interested, you can order here and follow the instructions.

9. While for anyone interested and looking forward to their next projects, Ji Chang Wook and Ha Ji Won will feature heavily on December and January. Ji Chang Wook will begins his journey as mysterious messenger in drama “Healer”, premieres on December 8 on KBS 2. While Ha Ji Won will show her motherhood and housewife skills as Ha Jung Woo’s wife in “Chronicle of Blood Merchant”, premieres on January 15, 2015.

Any chance Ji Chang Wook will go to movie premiere? Since he will still be busy with “Healer” and “The Days” at that time.
