Ha Ji Won comes back to Taiwan! It’s for her Asia Tour Fanmeeting titled “Bridge of Friendship”. Her first stop is Taiwan which pours so many love and support for Ha Ji Won and Empress Ki. Taiwanese fans has been known to love Empress Ki – to the point they re-broadcast the drama again right now – and most of them are TaNyang shippers, so expect so many fanservice and things connected to TaNyang. Coincidence or not? I’ll leave to chingudeul.
Ha Ji Won arrived in Taiwan at Oct 18, 2014 and she went straight to the hotel. Guess what, she stayed at the same hotel with Ji Chang Wook (during his first FM), Westin Taipei Hotel. They stay at same presidential suite. Though we don’t know if she stays at the same room. Taiwanese media called her stay as following her “screen husband”. This reminds us, as a fan puts it really well, to a Confucian teaching “Husband leads, wife follows”. Meaning the husband is the leader of the household and the wife should submit to the husband. It also appears in “Empress Ki” episode 27 when Ta Hwan learns how to write from Seung Nyang. I wonder if Ji Chang Wook has said anything to Ha Ji Won and recommended the hotel or the hotel itself that contacted her and sponsors her stay during her visit to Taiwan.
As if it’s not enough, the hotel gives her “empress” special treatment with special pillow, cuisine and other facilities. And (delulu mind) when Ha Ji Won took picture with hotel staffs, it’s just so happens that the arrangement is similar to Ji Chang Wook. The slimmer lady is on the right and the other lady on the left.
Ha Ji Won looks like she had fun while preparing and doing the fanmeeting. It’s just so hard to keep my face straight when watching pictures and videos of it.
I like the black dress, she really looks beautiful.
Not so much with ivory/grey dress with bunny headband, but it reminds me to Ji Chang Wook’s deer pajama at his last FM. I can’t even! What’s with these two and animals?
I also love the red dress. Ha Ji Won looks good on it without even trying to be too sexy.
The cutest outfit... It has eagle print too. She really loves eagle, I see.
She also sang 3 songs, “The Guy Opposite, Look At Me” (Kan Guo Lai), 2NE1’s “I Am The Best”, and “Now In This Place”. When she sang “Kan Guo Lai” her manager and Haewadal staff were acting like back dancer, making it funnier to watch. She also showed her dancing skills for 2NE1 song “I Am The Best”. After she sang “Now In This Place” she was so overwhelmed by the fans’ reception that she was crying on stage and made the translator crying too. Whether or not it’s because the lyrics (remind her to someone) or the fans remain to be seen.
During the fanmeeting, there were many videos shown to the audiences. For example, when she visited “Empress Ki” set and told Tal Tal to get lost but plucked a flower for Ta Hwan... hahaha. It looks like her manager wore Ta Hwan’s mask. She also said many times that these are the set where Ta Hwan and Seung Nyang shot so many scenes. Ah, I miss them. Then there’s also video when she’s running and jumping around with bathrobe. LOL. So cute. She’s just like little girl. (I may sub these videos, but I can’t promise anything)
Continue with delulu mind, even the MC, Ken Wu (famous host in Taiwan) and the translator are the same with Ji Chang Wook. Again, do you think it's coincidence? Does Taiwan suddenly only have one MC and one translator for Korean celebs fanmeeting?
Ken Wu also praised Ha Ji Won, writing on his weibo account "I also like Ha Ji Won very much ~ Friendly, well mannered, dedicated and serious, and she really has acting ability! Anticipating her new projects! 1023!!!"
He also praised Ji Chang Wook when he visited MTV Idols of Asia and said he will look forward to his next projects. I see similar words here...
Initially she planned to stay for 3 days 2 night in Taiwan but since she is attending a Cartier event on Thursday, she decided to extend her stay to 7 days 6 nights. Yesterday she had photoshoot on Yangmingshan's 'Black Forest' and Bamboo Lake. The location is famous for wedding photoshoot. Does she prepare for her wedding soon? There will be many more goodies. But for now, I’ll leave it here and maybe I’ll continue with part 2.
