1. Ha Ji Won is appointed as one of the presenters for Laureus World Sport Awards 2015, apparently a prestigious awards for athletes all over the world from various fields. The event was held in Shanghai, China on April 15 and she's the first Korean to ever have attended it. The event was hosted by actor Benedict Cumberbatch. Henry Cavill from "Man of Steel", Carolina Kurkova, Yao Ming, Yang Yang and other worldwide stars and sports stars were there. Ha Ji Won was there with another actor to present Sport Disability Personality of The Year. (Koreaboo)

2. Ji Chang Wook was in Busan for 3 days for his musical “The Days”. As usual, he didn’t forget to snap selfies before and after going to the musical. Looks like he grows his fanbases by multiple judging from the fans that swarmed the venue and had a chance to see him directly. A funny story was told by a Korean fan, during a scene when he sings “My Song”, apparently his fly is open, but fortunately his white shirt cover everything... LOL. It reminds me few weeks ago when Glorious released a video of the musical when Kang Tae Eul also had problem with his pants so Ji Chang Wook ad-libbed the scene.

3. Ready for new Empress Ki BTS?? We have whole batch of new BTS, courtesy of EK Japan Guidebook vol.3. Thanks to fans on Empress KI DC Gallery who scanned and shared these pictures, we get more glimpses of TaNyang couple and other casts. As usual, their BTS is explosive to say the least!! Here’s some of the BTS. (Sadly there’s no ohlala BTS as of know, maybe MBC won’t release it at all). (EK DC)

4. Going to France last week, Ha Ji Won was attracted the attention of French media. She was featured on April 9 edition of French daily, Nice Matin. Meanwhile, her sister also uploaded a picture of Ha Ji Won enjoying car ride in France with her. Her trip to France will be aired as reality show “Go, Go with Unni” and will begin airing on April 28, at 11 p.m. on OnStyle. The show is sponsored by Airbnb, a service founded in 2008 that lets tourists or short-term visitors rent out furnished private residences. (Korea Herald)

5. This week L’Officiel Hommes also released Ji Chang Wook’s pictorial for their May issue. Going with the theme “The Healer of All” Ji Chang Wook is showing his masculine yet playful side. Not my favorite one, but Ji Chang Wook does own this photoshoot with sexy smoldering gaze. There will be 22 pages dedicated for him and the magazine will be released on April 20 in Korea. L’Officiel Hommes also will publish his interview in Korean, Chinese and English, so yay for us!! (More pictures are expected to come next week!)

6. TV Report published 2015 power rankings for top actors and actresses in Korea. They conducted a survey within industry and got the feedback from 30 PDs across KBS, MBC, and SBS along with 10 producers at top production companies. For the second time in row, Kim Soo Hyun and Jeon Ji Hyun take number one spots respectively. Ha Ji Won is second, behind Jun Ji Hyun. While Ji Chang Wook is 9th alongside Yoochun, Yoo Seung Ho, Hyun Bin, and Cha Seung Won. Considering Ji Chang Wook wasn’t even mentioned last year, it’s big improvement for him to get recognized now. While Ha Ji Won loses top spot from last year. But don’t worry as rankings are really subjective and there are tons of them, let’s just use it as barometer for ourselves, not to ignite hate or even fanwars. (Koala’s Playground)
