1. Ha Ji Won’s COABM VIP Premiere on January 12 went on without hitch and the movie VIP premiere was star-studded. Lots of up-and-coming actors/actresses and idols went to show some support to the cast and crew. One person sorely missed is of course Ji Chang Wook who were unable to attend because he’s in the middle of liveshooting for “Healer”. Though he did explain to everyone via his IG that he’s still filming on that night while biting his “Healer” script. Poor Healer boy, it’s actually the second time he missed Ha Ji Won’s VIP Premieres. Last year he was also unable to attend “The Huntresses” VIP Premiere because he was sick. But at least there were representratives from “Empress Ki” as Jin Yi Han (Tal Tal) and Yoo In Young (Batolu) attended COABM VIP Premiere. The movie itself was premiered last Wednesday, January 15. 2. Ha Ji Won and Ha Jung Woo also featured on SBS FM 'Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time' at 12pm, January 14. On this show Ha Ji Won revealed that she used to ask her relatives and friends to comment positively on her article and deny the rumor that was untrue. LOL. Then, Choi Hwa Jung asked Ha Ji Won her to tell the most charming part of her, and Ha Ji Won replied, "I have a very special talent in coming up with all sorts of petty tricks. I thought that it was a bad characteristic to have when I was younger, but I am very proud of it now." (Starnews, Soompi)
3. In an interview with media, Ha Ji Won also said her ideal type. On Tuesday, she shared her thoughts on the recently premiered film 'Chronicle of a Blood Merchant' with director and actor Ha Jung Woo, and her personal life, including her ideal man type. During the interview, Ha Ji Won said, "My ideal man is a handsome and funny man. When the Blood Merchant buys stuff to Ok Ran in the film, he is communicating his warm heart and sincerity." She added, "I like funny things. When I am not having fun, I can't laugh." (kdramastarz)
Now she seems fond of handsome and funny man, despite never said “handsome” as her ideal type before. Who knows maybe she already find her ideal type? Someone who is handsome and can make her laugh? Especially has same laughing code with her?
4. While Ji Chang Wook is busy filming “Healer”. In one of the BTS, his co-star Park Min Young asked him what is his ideal type and he said nothing specifically. Is he just being shy and can’t say the truth? Hahaha... Anyway here’s good looking Ji Chang Wook in new “Healer” still from KBS.
5. Ever wonder if Northcape is still alive? They pretty much are alive. Just that our feelings toward them is dead and buried. They produced 2 Ha Ji Won and Ji Chang Wook couple banners and one Ha Ji Won banner on their website. With the tagline “Now Escape Now Northcape”, seems Northcape want to escape their responsibility to properly promote their product with JiJi. It’s okay, It’s Trollcape. (Northcape website)
6. Ji Chang Wook was also busy creating memorable performance in his musical “The Days”. Yesterday, January 17 was his last musical performance on “The Days” this year. Although he would still join the cast during their showcase on cities outside Seoul. He looks deadly tired and in need of rest, although still all smiley, as fans recognized the coat he wore is actually also appearing on “Healer” episode 13 preview. Means no rest for him to go back and forth as Kang Mu Yeong in “The Days” and Healer/Seo Jung Hoo/Park Bong Soo in “Healer”. 7. Ha Ji Won is in the middle of COABM promotion and has several stage greetings each day to promote her new movie. The movie itself is doing average on theathers, loses out to Lee Seung Gi’s “Today’s Love”. We remains optimistic that the movie will break 1 million viewers soon. Let’s hope for the best!!
Ha Ji Won can be seen on several theaters around South Korea these days with her “husband” Ha Jung Woo and her 3 children. The eldest son is played by child actor Nam Da Reum, whom Ha Jung Woo confessed he looked for the eldest son that looks like Ha Ji Won the most.
8. Baek Jin Hee (Tanashiri in Empress Ki) was interviewed this week by a Singapore magazine. She likened her co-stars to foods and said that Ji Chang Wook is like ox bone soup (seolleongtang). The stew is very rich and thick, boiled by cow bones. Baek Jin Hee gave her reason, “Because Ji Chang Wook is such sincere and serious person. In Korea we have a saying that if someone is like cow bone soup, it means he is really sincere, like a real good deal.” (8 Days Magz)
BTW is it the trend in Korea to likened somebody to food? Ha Jung Woo even likened Ha Ji Won to salmon in press review for "COABM" few weeks ago.
9. JiJi Instagram time!! Again, 3 posts from each this week! Can we call it coincidence again?? Ha Ji Won is busy promoting COABM and even asked her fans to buy corn, as her character in that movie selling corn. While Ji Chang Wook looking tired after “Healer” filming and “The Days” show. Oh, one thing! Ji Chang Wook even remembered a letter from fan about longing and happiness. I’m sure he’s longing for someone *wink*
