Chapter 13
At Jiwonderland Group
“Ji Won-shi, the director finding you”
“Does he want to drink coffee?”
“No, I’m not clear…anyway you should come
his room quickly”
Ha Ji Won enters the room, Ji Sung did not
tell he wants to drink coffee or anything else but ask her go to change. Ha Ji
Won was surprised to ask him the reason.
“Why do I have to change?”
“Don’t misunderstand, tonight will have a
party for my musical partners, I will take you along.”
Ha Ji Won feels something not right so
going to reject him. Moreover she doesn’t want to close to him for any reason.
“I’m so sorry Director but this is not my job,
I’m just a bartender only.”
Ji Sung seems not satisfied with her answer
“Today my secretary got sick so I need
someone accompany with me…do you understand? Our relationship is just between director
and staff, that’s all.”
Ji Sung gave her a prom-dress then urged
her to try it. That is a beautiful white dress, it looks very pristine and pure
and really suits Ha Ji Won as if it was only dedicated to her. And then she was
taken to do the hair and make up.
After finish all, Ha Ji Won goes in front
of Ji Sung. She really so pretty that he can not stop staring at her with
burning eyes.
Ha Ji Won doesn’t react anything at all, she
just thinks whether Ji Chang Wook waiting her for dinner again so she sends message to him
[Sorry
Chang Wook , today maybe I go home late again so don’t wait for me, eat your
dinner first please, about Shi Woo just let the maid help him go to sleep]
On the other side, Ji Chang Wook received Ha
Ji Won message, he feels quite sad cause today he also going to take her to
night party of his company. No choice, he just talk to his secretary, Bayan.
“Tonight, you will go along with me to
the party, let prepare.”
Bayan feels surprised at first but after
that so excited like crazy. She chose a prom dress extremely sexy, seems she wants to attract Ji Chang Wook’s attention
tonight.

The night party was quite luxurious. The piano contest from other artists sung
together. The candles flickered between the
sumptuous banquet and Champagne wine flavor
or passionate whisky
makes some couples can not control their heart beating so fast.
Chang
Wook and Bayan wave to come but they go even without linking arms. After be
introduced as President of Glorious, Chang Wook was asked to play a music. Ji
Chang Wook very happy to do that, he stand up and go to the stage where a piano
laying. He closed his eyes to enjoy the sympathy music and in his mind now just
filled with Ha Ji Won pictures.
The
bittersweet sound
ring melodiously, everybody in the
party are listening attentively. When the music ended, applause rang out continuously for a real pianist. Ji Chang Wook walked off the stage under the admiring
gaze of everyone.
Ji
Chang Wook smiled brightly but when the MC mention Ji Sung name that smiles was
frozen on his face. He seems unbelievable in his eyes when seeing the person Ji Seong
holding hands on stage no one other than his
wife, Ha Ji Won.
Ji
Chang Wook almost got crazy and going up to the stage to ask clearly but Bayan
prevented him.
“President
please keep calm…you can not do like that…don’t you want to destroy the image
of Glorious, do you?”
“Keep
calm? How can I do when seeing my wife stay beside other man?”
“Anyway
you should calm down yourself first…maybe there is something misunderstood or
you can wait till go home to ask her ok?”
Because
Bayan doesn’t want anything bad happen to Glorious and Ji Chang Wook so this is
the first time she helps Ha Ji Won to explain. And never for the next time, she
told herself like that.
From
the beginning till the end of the party, Ji Chang Wook did not take his eyes of
Ha Ji Won, even he holds Bayan hands and take her in front of her and Ji Sung.
Of
course Ha Ji Won saw Ji Chang Wook, immediately her face becomes ashen because of
the fear but also feel heartbroken as well when seeing he holding other girl
hand like that. She only know to bow her face down to the ground in order to
avoid his cool gaze while Ji Chang Wook keep looking at her.
Ji
Sung takes a glance over to see all, he suddenly pull Ha Ji Won away and said
they have something need to settle. Ji Chang Wook just stand there and look
under the shadow of Ha Ji Won. He can’t stand anymore, his heart aches deeply. He used
hand to thump in his chest even it make him more painful.
During
the party, he drunk too much and calling Ha Ji Won name. The music turns on and
some couples start dancing but only Ji Chang Wook still sitting there.
“Excuse me, Mr! Could you dance with me?” a girl inviting him
Ji
Chang Wook did not reply but keep drinking his wine, the image of Ji Sung holds
Ha Ji Won’s hands continuously pops
up in his mind, his head seemed almost to explode.
He
whispers “Ha Ji Won…Ji Won ah…how can you treat me like this”

About Ji Sung, he invited Ha Ji Won to
dance with him. At this moment Ha Ji Won just dance as a puppet without soul.
Today she also drinks too much so feel dizzy a bit. She stopped dancing
unexpectedly and told Ji Sung
“Director I feel tried a bit, I want go to
the toilet to wash my face”
Said then Ha Ji Won go away dully without
looking at Ji Sung anymore. Ji Chang Wook saw her going to go to the second
floor of the hotel so he hurry to stand up to chase her.
When approached Ha Ji Won, he pulled her
into a dark corner of the hotel. Ha Ji Won was surprised, she can hear his deep
breath clearly
and see his face so heavy now under the dim lights.
Her chest is like pinched tightly, she doesn’t know what she
should say now but just whispers
“Apologize…”
