EPISODE 56

Paeha wakes up but still stumbles a bit. His memory is starting to regain, but he still very weak. Mamanim has to help him.

Lee Hwon takes a comfortable (and wet) bath. He tells his eunuch that he'll go to Yuan to meet mamanim. He's curious how mamanim capture Jeongjo's heart. He still doesn't know that Jeongjo becomes an eunuch now.

Ayu goes to a battle with Tiltil. They fight off Red Turban rebels. They're outnumbered but soon can defeat the rebels. The rebels' leader, Jung Ok decides to flee (the bald one is the coward one apparently). Then Ayu has deep thought upon Tiltil. He finally can sense her company.

In the palace, paeha hasn't recovered 100% from amnesia. Now, he even forget how to write. Mamanim gives him thoughtful and lovey dovey eyes. She will teach him again to write.

Unfortunately instead of learning, paeha's sneaky hand grab mamanim hand instead. Mamanim is mad and gives paeha punishment. He must write up to 100 pages tomorrow.

At the moment Ayu comes from the battlefield to report. He catches the tail end of their conversation.

Ayu: "Ahbamama, I'm so happy you want to keep learning. I want to see your efforts tomorrow."
Paeha: "Sure, by tomorrow I'll already finish it."

Jeongjo is still on mission to capture Paeha's heart. He goes to create new friends in the palace, royal guards, cooks, servants, court ladies, etc. Later that night, he meets Court Lady Kang to do secret mission. They talk in secret. 

Ayu then decides to meet Tiltil in the palace. In Paeha's chamber he still writes the punishment. But he falls asleep instead... Mamanim comes and sees Paeha only writes up to 5 pages. Mamanim can't see him lose his face in front of Ayu. She writes it up for him. A few hours later Paeha wakes up and find mamanim writing. He's sorry and all and keeps talking. Mamanim just sigh and wants him to shut up. She looks deadly tired. 

Ayu meets Tiltil in the secret chamber.... Ayu shares a hug with TilTil. Ayu says sorry and that he's actually realize his feelings now. But too bad, Tiltil has a new crush now. He's a member of the royal guards.

Jung Ok still can't give up the rebellion, he tries to send message to Jeongjo. While Lee Hwon finally comes to the Yuan palace. He meets mamanim. He looks surprised and smittened by Mamanim's beauty. He then meets Jeongjo and finds that he just an eunuch here. He questions Jeongjo.

 

Mamanim goes to throne hall. She's unhappy by Dr.Jin's treatment to Paeha. She gives mandate to execute Dr.Jin tomorrow. Dr.Jin looks terrified by the execution but can't defend himself. He's in prison now until the execution.

Hwon asks Jeongjo what he really wants in Yuan. Jeongjo just brushes off Hwon's question. But Hwon insists to know. Jeongjo finally said that he will poison mamanim and takes Paeha for himself. Hwon is at loss for words. He can't believe Jeongjo!! He wants to shake Jeongjo and makes him go back to Goryeo but Jeongjo refuses. Hwon challenges Jeongjo to a fight. He won't interfere Jeongjo if he loses.

Dr.Jin is going to be beheaded. Paeha, Ayu and Hwanghu Mama come to watch the execution. Then, off to the execution. Dr.Jin is dead.

Over at the fight between Jeongjo and Hwon, both don't want to lose even if they injured themselves. After the execution, Paeha goes to his chamber. Mamanim talks to Ayu over her son's feeling to TilTil. Mamanim warns Ayu although TilTil is smart and capable like her father, she won't care about feelings and getting married for now. TilTil cares more about nation than men. She only casts off Ayu for now. In the chamber, Paeha is sad because he's back to stupid and useless again. He feels he only give burdens to Mamanim and Ayu. 

Suddenly an envoy comes and gives Paeha special medicine. Paeha doesn't know who is the sender but drink the medicine anyway. He feels so sleepy and sleeps for a few hours. 

 When he wakes up, he regain his memory and his body is much better. Mamanim comes by to see Paeha's condition. Mamanim is surprised because Paeha is back to normal. Paeha gives mamanim a wink and a code, he wants to sleep with her tonight.
