Episode 6

Last scene from episode 5, Seung Nyang sees Ta Hwan and Oh Young looking happy together. She also sees Oh Soo from afar walking towards her direction. She looks worried. As soon as Oh Soo lifts his head, she quickly hides on a nearby tree. She peeks behind a large tree and sees him entering the building. She looks sad.

At a restaurant, Ta Hwan and Oh Young are enjoying their lunch. They notice the piano in front of the restaurant. She asks him if he’s playing the piano again. He tells her that he already forgot everything that’s related to music. When suddenly, they hear a familiar voice.

“Can I join you?”

“Oh Soo?!”

Oh Soo sits beside Oh Young.

“You’re having a great time together, huh?” He teases them. “But sorry for interrupting your moment together. Your secretary told me that you are here so I followed you. Well, I just came here to tell you about the developments of the Jeju project.”

Oh Young annoyingly tells the two guys to just discuss those business matters in the office. The two guys say in unison, “Yes Maam.” Then, they burst out laughing.

Back at Yuan Group, Joong Won is speaking someone over the phone. He mentions something about the Jeju project when the crazy-but-sexy-psychiatrist-who-loves-paranormal-activities enter his office. He ends his conversation and asks what brought her to his office. She answers him that she detects some ghosts in his office so he must stop what he is planning against his brother. He tells her not to intervene with his personal life and arrogantly tells her to “Get lost” again.

One of Seung Nyang’s part-time jobs is working at a car repair shop. A car enters the shop then, Oh Soo and his new girlfriend comes out from the car. She sees them and quickly hides behind another car. The shop’s manager approaches him and calls the mechanic referring to her. But before the manager says her name, she immediately raises her hand but still hiding and speaks in a low voice that she will work on it after she finishes repairing another car. Then, Oh Soo with his girlfriend left the shop. She just stares at them who look so sweet together. She stares at the girl and looks at herself. “She’s pretty and so feminine.” After an hour, he returns to the shop. He starts his car when he takes a glimpse on Seung Nyang, bidding goodbye to her boss. Unfortunately, he can only see her back while she walks away.

On the next day, Ta Hwan is at his office but can’t concentrate on his work. He stares at his phone.

“Aigoo, that woman... She said she will call me if she has decided. Haish!”

Then his secretary calls him thru the intercom and tells him that a woman named Cha Seung Nyang wants to speak to him. He looks overjoyed on what he just heard.

Seung Nyang enters his office while he acts as if he is not expecting her. She tells him that she accepts his job offer. He giggles but pretends to look composed. He calls his secretary to prepare the contract and instructs her about her duties and responsibilities. 

After a few days, Seung Nyang is busy packing her things. She tells her brother to take care of himself while she is away and that their father won’t go home for the weekend because of work. He assures her that he’ll be fine. As she goes out of the house with his brother carrying some of her luggage, she sees Tal Tal waiting. While on their way to the airport, Tal Tal reminds her to take care of herself and Kakao Talk him if she feels bored or lonely. She smiles and tells him that she will.

At Gimpo airport, Ta Hwan is waiting for Seung Nyang and Oh Soo. However, Seung Nyang doesn’t know yet about Oh Soo’s involvement in the project. Ta Hwan’s phone rings.

“Oh Soo, where are you?”

“I think I can’t go with you in Jeju because father will be coming from the U.S. I need to fix things first here or I’ll be dead meat. You know my father’s temper is far more terrible than your father.”

“Okay then. I have already the files needed and I have my assistant with me. Okay, bye.”

Seung Nyang arrives at the airport and sees Ta Hwan from afar. He smiles at her but seriously looks at Tal Tal. She introduces the two guys to each other. Then Ta Hwan and Seung Nyang proceed to the departure area. 

Inside the plane, he hesitantly asks about her relationship with Tal Tal. She answers him that he is her bestfriend since they were little. He feels relieved and further asks if she likes him. She says that he is a smart and responsible man and that any woman will fall for him plus his manly voice and good dancing skills but she only sees him as her bestfriend. He secretly smiles.

After a half hour travel, they arrive at Jeju. The two enjoys the fresh air and beautiful scenery while they go to their hotel.  At the reception area, the receptionist tells them that they have only one room available. Seung Nyang looks shocked and starts to plead to give them separate rooms. The receptionist tells them that all hotels in the island are fully booked due to the flocks of many tourists. The two makes a long sigh. 

She looks awed as she enters their hotel room. It is so spacious and modernized. She sees the king-sized bed. Ta Hwan follows her and also sees it. They stare at each other intimately. Then, their hearts begin to beat uncontrollably. Thump! Thump! Thump!

“Aigoo, it’s really hot during summer, right? I...I need to take a shower.” She suddenly exclaims and immediately goes to the bathroom.

 

“Ah, right. It’s really hot these past few days.” He says and secretly smiles.

While at the lobby area, a manly man walks inside. All the employees greet and bow before him. He takes the stairs to go to his office because he has a trauma using the elevator. A middle-aged man greets and acknowledges him as the owner of the Secret Garden Hotel, Kim Joo-won.
