TaNyang Weekly (23/11/2014)

A mixed bag of week, as usual from TaNyang/JiJi Couple. Enjoy!

1. For Ji Chang Wook’s new drama “Healer”, the first and second teaser are out and there’s whole batch of new stills from the drama. Ji Chang Wook looks manly, gentleman, and most importantly sexily handsome in most of the stills. Don’t miss “Healer” premiere on December 8, 22.00 KST on KBS2! Here’s the engsubbed second teaser:

2. Ji Chang Wook’s fans can also look forward to the upcoming fan event to be held on December 27, titled “WITH Free-spirited Mooyeong”. As the title suggests, the event is for Ji Chang Wook’s local and overseas fan to be able to see Ji Chang Wook as Moo Yeong performs at musical “The Days”. Tickets were limited to 417 people and sold out overnight. Ji Chang Wook seemed happy with the fan event and asks the fans to look forward to his performance. (Glorious Ent, JCW IG)

3. While Ha Ji Won seemed to enjoy her leisure time this week, taking selca in front of several side dishes and “Hite” Beer. “Hite” Beer is a rival to Ji Chang Wook’s endorsement “Cass” Beer and interestingly uses Hyun Bin as the model. Ha Ji Won seemed enjoy her can of beer and spotted making kimchi by her DC gallery fans. It’s said she will be appear in new variety show about making kimchi soon. (HJW IG, HJW DC)

4. Not too long after he seems okay, filming “Healer” and performing “The Days” simultaneously, Ji Chang Wook felt homesick and wrote it on his Instagram. When I think about it, I can’t remember he’s homesick while filming “Empress Ki”. Different co-star matters, we think.

5. Ji Chang Wook’s interview with Hallyu World last month finally was posted on this Thursday. Goodness gracious, it also comes with English and Chinese Subs, so no worries for you international fans. He sat down to dicuss about musical “The Days” and his roles in “Empress Ki” and “Healer”. He described Ha Ji Won as “Someone who laughs a lot. She can’t hold in the laughter so we end up with lots of retakes and bloopers.” LOL. We know you like NG too, Wookie? The most tiring scene for him is Flying scene off the cliff in episode 5. He also told us that he actually wanted to visit other cities in China, such as Shanghai, but they only filmed in Hangzhou at Hengdian World Studios for the earlier episodes and the rest were done at MBC Studio. (Hallyu World/ESTAR)

6. Other video released this week is Ha Ji Won Vogue Taiwan feature in which someone reads her fortune and preference via tarot cards and perfume bottles. She chose orange and blue perfume bottles, while also chose “The Emperor” and “The Sun” tarot cards. The fortune teller told her that for those she loves, such as her fans she will gel and blend with them. I wonder why the tarot didn’t reveal her love fortune? Is it too obvious? (Vogue Taiwan)

7. To say Taiwanese loves TaNyang and JiJi is an understatement. So there’s 100% Entertainment video this week that reveals interviews to our couple. Granted, the setting is same on two separate interviews because Ji Chang Wook and Ha Ji Won stayed at the same hotel (Westin Taipei) even though they went separately. Nothing fishy, except for the part that they reveal Ha Ji Won’s ideal type based on a psychological test. It turns out to be someone that can give her security interms of financial and emotions. But she added that she like someone that she can get along easily and she SAID the EXACT same thing as what Ji Chang Wook always said, someone that she can talk to/interact with easily with heart to heart connections. (Thanks to qwenli, our dear Chinese translator) While Ji Chang Wook also has a test to reveal which type of girl he likes based on their eyes alone and Ji Chang Wook picks famous Taiwan model, Lin Chi Ling. He also tried his archery skills and ended in misery. LOL. He should learn from Seung Nyang instead. You can watch engsubbed Ji Chang Wook’s part here. (100% Entertainment)

8. Thank you Northcape for being so kind to us in providing the latest Ha Ji Won and Ji Chang Wook photoshoot BTS. We’re aware that our couple looks good together, despite your gracious attempt to stop our delusional from being worse. You should plan to make a short movie for JiJi based on your BTS alone. Oh, we forget, doesn’t it the second CF that you promised to us? We’re not hating you, really, but by the time your products enter my country I might already bought an Eider or Northface jacket. (Northcape naver blog)

9. If you feel you will get hypertension from the post above, this one will calm you. Calm, as Ji Chang Wook’s gaze and dashing pose for GQ Magazine December issue. He endorse Citizen watch and that explain the watches on every pictures. I’m not complaining.at.all. Keep it coming GQ!! (GQ Magazine)

10. Ha Ji Won openly admired Superstar K6 winner Kwak Jin Eon on her Instagram. Mr.Kwak, 23 years old, is one of alumni from Hartist (one of HJW’s foundation). He’s talented musician with deep vibrato voice and guitar skills. She wrote it on her Instagram:

그대의 순수함과 따뜻함에 감동했어요~멋지다~곽진언!

I was touched For your pure and warmness.. it's cool.. Kwak Jin Eon

Musician is always charming anyway.

11. Finally, KBS Entertainment Weekly Ha Ji Won’s section for you to keep smiling and (maybe) crying too as they follow her to Vietnam for Operation Smile charity. You can watch it engsubbed on KBS World Youtube around two weeks from now, so stay tune! (KBS)
