EMPRESS KI HEIRS

EPISODE 7

Kim Joo Won enters the lobby area then go upstairs to his office. Every staff gives him a deep bow. He inspects guest lists and seeing Ta Hwan and Seung Nyang’s name in a room no.650. He wonders why they stay together in a room.

At the hotel room Ta Hwan teases Seung Nyang if she finds it awkward. Seung Nyang nods and walks to the bathroom fast. She can hear her heartbeat racing. She tries to calm down herself. She then takes a cold shower. Ta Hwan has waiting for her in the room and when Seung Nyang just get outside the bathroom, Ta Hwan is in awe with her beauty.

“You... You look beautiful.”

Seung Nyang doesn’t know what to say and only slightly smiles before sit at the corner of the bed.

Ta Hwan leans to her and searching for eye contact.

“Do I like you?” Ta Hwan gives Seung Nyang his trademark line then smiles.

“You, just keep your pick-up lines to your girlfriend,” Seung Nyang replies.

Seung Nyang then asks his permission to go outside the room. In fact, she’s sweating and nervous in front of him. She reminds herself that Ta Hwan already has girlfriend. She goes to lobby but suddenly bumps into Joo Won. 

At Yuan Group, Joong Won is mad at Sec.Kim because he never offers him good solution. Now, he wonders how to make Ta Hwan voluntarily resigns from his position. He then gets a good idea and calls his stepmother, Chae Young Rang.

Joo Won and Seung Nyang are chatting in the hotel yard. Joo Won is Seung Nyang’s friend but they lose contact to each other when he was in the military service. Joo Won offers Seung Nyang another room if she doesn’t want to sleep in the same bedroom with a guy. Seung Nyang refuses his offer because she can’t use his friend’s position just for her sake. At the same time, Ta Hwan arrives.

“I searches you everywhere and you already with a guy. Who is he?” Ta Hwan asks her.

“Who? He’s my friend, Kim Joo Won, this hotel owner,” answers Seung Nyang.

“But you can’t just go outside without my permission. I’m your boss!” Ta Hwan orders her.

The tension between them is not good. Seung Nyang leaves Ta Hwan and Joo Won, upset at Ta Hwan’s reaction. Joo Won again offers to Ta Hwan another room. Ta Hwan rejects it coldly the looks for Seung Nyang again.

Joong Won meets his stepmother at a restaurant. He tells her that now Ta Hwan is cheating from Oh Young and pursuing another girl, a poor girl on top of that. Young Rang doesn’t believe him easily but Joong Won gives her recent pictures of them fooling around taken by his spy. Young Rang is fuming. She leaves Joong Won and calls her son. 

“So is this why you don’t want want to meet me recently? Because you have another girl, instead of dating Oh Young. Meet me as soon as your business matter finishes!” Young Rang calls him angrily.

Ta Hwan doesn’t even have a chance to reply her. But he feels sorry to his mom. He doesn’t even know why he behaves like that. Suddenly, all the thoughts about Oh Young flooding his mind. How sweet Oh Young is and how happy they would be if there’s love. He feels sorry to everyone. He doesn’t love Oh Young, not even her sweetness and positivity move his heart. 

He doesn’t know what to do, should he breaks up with Oh Young or just continue with it. He’s in deep thought and doesn’t know Seung Nyang is there. He offers apology to Seung Nyang but he still doesn’t want her to be around with Joo Won. He gives her some books and documents to read.

“Tomorrow there will be business meeting, you have to prepare yourself. Please read these. But still, you should just be in the room. Don’t go anywhere!” Ta Hwan says then leaves the room. 

Nam Hoon and Young Do are at their classroom. Young Do tells him that he feels thrown up with his messed-up family. His brother and stepsister never pays attention to him and he only plays with his dog. Nam Hoon shares his story too that he feels so lonely. His sister always comes home late and his father is working 7 days a week. But Nam Hoon warns him not to bring cigarettes again, his sister really mad at him. Young Do understands it then asks Nam Hoon if he can sleep over at his place. Nam Hoon agrees and he playfully teases Young Do.

Oh Young calls Ta Hwan and asks his whereabout and if Oh Soo joins them too. Ta Hwan says no, then Oh Young asks if she can go to Jeju to meet him. She misses him. He hesitantly says yes. Oh Young then calls Oh Soo and asks his brother to accompany her to buy present for Ta Hwan. Then Oh Soo comes and they take a walk to a store. Oh Soo is happy seeing his sister smiling at the thought of Ta Hwan. He thinks Ta Hwan treats Oh Young nicely and hope they’ll get married soon. She doesn’t reply Oh Soo but instead her mind is wandering.

Ta Hwan comes and brings many foods for them. But he finds Seung Nyang sleeps instead of reading books. 

“Ah, why do you sleep here? You make me want to protect you,” Ta Hwan says then pats her on the back to wake her up.

Seung Nyang wakes up. She’s still sleepy. Ta Hwan offers to eat fried chicken. They also drink cans of beer. After few hours, they both are drunk. Ta Hwan wants to sleep now. He teases Seung Nyang to come to him. After all, they already sleeping together at his house.

“Come on, come here! You and I are both adult and all it takes is only a night.”

“What... what are you saying?” Seung Nyang stutters.

Ta Hwan gigles then asks Seung Nyang if she wants to spend the night with him. He gets closer to her until they both at the edge of the bed. He leans for a kiss. Then his phone rings. It’s from Oh Young!
