TaNyang Weekly 23/03/2015

We’re back again this week everyone!! Well, what can I say except very eventful week, especially for sought-after Ha Ji Won who gets offers left and right. While Ji Chang Wook posed like gentleman few times this week.
1. What a funny coincidence! Ha Ji Won and Bolin Chen were offered a Korean-Chinese joint movie production titled “Risking Life to Love”. So far Ha Ji Won’s agency said she’s considering favourably. Bolin Chen also diligently learned Korean for quite some time, partyly because he also has upcoming movie with Son Ye Jin, who also Ha Ji Won’s friend. Looks like Ha Ji Won is connected to Bolin Chen this year, more than just potential movie partner or Instagram friends. If she signs on, she will act with Taiwanese Li Da Ren from “In Time With You” which she also get offer for the remake. Sadly, Korean Li Da Ren still hasn’t showed up until now. (Koala's Playground)
2. Time to find Ha Ji Won’s leading man as the clock is ticking and no confirmation for the leads so far for upcoming SBS drama “Time I Loved You, 7000 Days”. It’s Korean remake of popular Taiwanese show “In Time With You.” News this week, Lee Jin Wook is offered the leading man role, totally out of the blue and out of fans’ speculation too. Partly because Lee Jin Wook was offered leading role for KBS’s “Hello Monster” but rejected it and heading to “Time I Love You”. Strangely, SBS denied they offered Lee Jin Wook, which makes it even weirder. SBS also announced to cut down their weekend dramas programming to only 1 drama at 10pm slot, so it remains to be seen if Korean ITWY will get weekend timeslot or not. (Koala's Playground)

3. While Ji Chang Wook is also offered movie “Fabricated City” by director Park Kwang Hyun. The offers also out for Shim Eun Kyung and Yoo Hae Jin. Once the leads confirmed, the shooting will begin in the first half of the year. If Ji Chang Wook and Shim Eun Kyung indeed confirm the movie and become co-stars, Ji Chang Wook will play with both Hwang Jin Yi senior (Ha Ji Won) and Hwang Jin Yi junior (Shim Eun Kyung). Fate, fate everywhere..

4. Ji Chang Wook was invited to Dolce & Gabbana VIP Event in Shanghai, China this week. He flew all the way to Shanghai, wearing Dolce & Gabbana collection from head to toe just like when he was invited for Dunhill. But then sadly, due to safety and security reasons he can’t attend the event because the security can’t handle his lots of fans. It’s rather wasted opportunity and one would hope the organizers dispatched more security personnels and anticipate all conditions. But then again, maybe it’s the best for everyone and Glorious quicly issued notice with explanation and apology to his fans. Ji Chang Wook himself expressed his disappointment on his Instagram and weibo and it’s such a pity we can’t see he wears the suit for the event. Well, better luck next time Ji Chang Wook!!

5. At least Ji Chang Wook is certified fashionista now as he was invited to attend Seoul Fashion Week F/W 2015 yesterday. He appears with very simple outfit, white shirt, dark blue suit and pants, but still so handsome. Other than him, the media also spotted Jeon Hye Bin and Kim Yoo Ri among celebrity attendants. I wonder if Ha Ji Won will be invited to this event too? Seoul Fashion Week runs till Wednesday and they have many local and international designers’ collection.
6. Aside from that, he’s also busy attending musical “The Days” performance in Seongnam. It’s part of their provincial tour to give people in provinces more access to the musical. No picture during the performance is allowed to be taken, so just enjoy his picture before/after the musical and at the backstage. He also took picture with Kim Mi Kyung (hacker ahjumma in “Healer”).

7. Still remember Northcape? I don’t even remember this one and pretty much surprised when they released pictorial for Spring/Summer 2015. It’s pretty late in the game, Trollcape! It’s the beginning of spring already! But yeah, for you all, check Ha Ji Won’s pretty pictorial below! (Just a reminder, she’s not paired up with Ji Chang Wook anymore, but with Park Seo Joon).

8. I so want to run around Korean bookstores and steal some copies of April issue magazines. How Ji Chang Wook can effortlessly pulled out 2 different concepts for 2 different magazines is beyond me. One thing for sure, he’s smoking hot for Singles magazine and so dreamy, freaking handsome for The Celebrity magazine.

9. "Empress Ki" proves its popularity even in another country. This week, the drama is crowned with top spot for Top Rated Dramas in 2015 in Philippines. "Empress Ki" gets the first place with an average rating of 22.1%. It's even similar to Korea's ratings and still, up until now, "Empress Ki" is the highest rated primetime drama since its ending (You From Another Star has higher ratings but it ended earlier than Empress Ki). Seems Philippines do love this drama, based on very active twitter users and how "Empress Ki" consistently shows up as trending topic on that country. (ladykate1023)

10. Instagram Updates!
