TaNyang Weekly 01/02/2015

Good evening from here! At last, it’s February now! The month that associated with love and romance. As usual, we would gladly share some juicy news on the first day of February like this.

1. Japanese media reported that Ha Ji Won's fan meeting was very sucessful. The tickets were sold out. During one segment, when the organiser played a highlight version of Empress Ki, she was moved to tears and said "Maybe I havent got out of the character, I remember how tough the filming was and how the character felt, so I cried. I am sorry."

No need to say sorry Ji Won-ssi, we also still can’t move on from “Empress Ki”. I think part of the reason why we (and Ha Ji Won) so difficult to move on is because the drama itself is very long, 51 episode and the shooting took about 9-10 months and the other reason is she had met many precious people, actors, staff, writer, PD, etc. Imagine yourself as a student at any class in a school for a year (academic year is about 9-10 months too), you still remember your beloved friends and priceless experience there right? 2. Ji Chang Wook will donate his things to FC Men Bazaar on February 7. It’s not football match per se, but more like a charity bazaar where FC Men team will donate their items as a fundraiser for a charity. It’s unclear if Ji Chang Wook will attend the event since “Healer” filming near the end by then. But who knows, maybe he will spare some time to come to this event? (JCW DC)

3. Ha Ji Won’s Secret Photobook is out! The pictorial consists of a photo book and a DVD. Both aim to show Ha’s many sides as an actress and a person. Ha Ji Won reportedly participated in the pictorial’s creating from beginning to end. She took part in planning, organizing, designing and editing the pictorial, her agency said. The Photobook and DVD itself is sold out in Japan when she held the fansigning event on January 23.

4. Before we play Where’s Northcape? and wonder about the next Spring/Summer pictorial, Northcape have answered us with some fishes this week. First we have recently photographed Ji Chang Wook wearing Northcape jacket in the middle of “Healer” filming. Many thanks to the fans who snapped him we get the glimpse of Northcape.

Second, Northcape also have some sort of photoshoot linked with catering ads with Ha Ji Won. She looks pretty and mesmerizing in every shots. Unfortunately, we can safely say there’s no Ji Chang Wook in this photoshoot. Boo! Trollcape, you can’t just left out the man who loves eating from catering ads and foods! 5. Ji Chang Wook’s popularity is no joke nowadays. His surge of popularity is unreal for me, especially since he never that popular in Korea or overseas. Nowadays, you can’t turn to any Kdrama website/blog without run into his name. That’s how popular he is. Top Star News even surveyed their own Facebook fanpage to look up at Top 50 Most Popular Article on January. Guess what? The very first article on the list is about Ji Chang Wook!

6. Related to his popularity, he was interviewed this week by Sohu TV, an online TV platform and legal site for streaming kdramas in China. The interview will come out next week on Tuesday! He also updates his Weibo and poses with Sohu TV mascot. See you on Tuesday, Chang Wook-ssi!

7. Music lovers unite! If you haven’t known already, Ha Ji Won is actually Big Bang fan and befriend Super Junior members (especially Siwon, and looks like Eunhyuk too since he followed her on IG). This news comes this week when she looks fangirling over Big Bang photographs on a magazine. (ladykate1023 twitter)

While Ji Chang Wook once again will Fill Up your void and makes you feel Butterfly with his own voice(*). He will sing an OST for “Healer” titled “I’ll Protect You”. The song is said to be ballad and filled with his emotions. He recorded the song on January 21 and the song itself will be released on February 9 (to be confirmed).

8. Instagram time!! Sadly no update from Ha Ji Won makes this week dedicated to Ji Chang Wook only. And boy, he updates so much this past week.

 

 

 

 

 

What caught me the most is obviously his update today when he takes a video of his own shadow somewhere in the meadow. It’s similar to Ha Ji Won’s update last year on September 1.
