Empress Ki Heirs: Episode 15

Sam Gwan looks like tired and upset from his encounter with Young Rang. Now he faces off his daughter and Ta Hwan holding hands like a couple. He’s surprised and asks them to let go of each other’s hands. Ta Hwan and Seung Nyang awkwardly let go of their hands.

“Are you dating each other or just playing? If you just play, don’t do it in front of me!”

“Abeoji.”

“Ta Hwan, you come with me!”

Sam Gwan tells Ta Hwan to follow him. He goes to the rooftop. Ta Hwan looks confused but follows him from behind. Sam Gwan tells him to not date Seung Nyang, to Ta Hwan’s surprise. He seems surprised because Sam Gwan seems always support them.

“You must have surprised, right? But now I think my daughter shouldn’t date you. In fact, she shouldn’t even get close to you,” says Sam Gwan.

“But, Driver Cha, why? I don’t understand anything.”

“Nope, you don’t need to understand everything. I also didn’t understand when I’m 20 years old, younger than you, I was forced to break up with my lover. Or when you forced to resign from your stable job. That kind of thing kinda sucks, right? Ha,” Sam Gwan wryly smiles.

Ta Hwan doesn’t know how to react. So he asks for his understanding, but Sam Gwan looks at him with pity. He tells Ta Hwan to stop, and if Ta Hwan doesn’t want to stop he must find his own way to be with Seung Nyang. For now, he can’t help anything. Seung Nyang sees them from afar, wonders why his father suddenly turns 180 degrees. 

Nam Hoon plays computer games, totally clueless with the situation. When Sam Gwan enters the house, he shelves a document on computer table and leaves again in a hurry. Nam Hoon takes a peek to the document and finds it strange. He calls Seung Nyang to check the document. 

“Noona, what is this?” Nam Hoon asks.

“As of today father is fired from the company? What is this?!” 

They then understand that their father is indeed fired from the company. It explains their father’s action toward Ta Hwan and Seung Nyang. She feels sorry for his father now and tears up a little. She then calls Ta Hwan to explains the situation.

At Yuan Group, Bel Ami just comes to the office. At the same time Joong Won also comes and asks who she is. Bel Ami introduces herself as new employee at Marketing Department and Joong Won looks at her from top to toe, still unsure if she’s really female. Joong Won then gives her a pass and lets her enter the office, though he’s still suspicious.

Oh Soo and Oh Young spends time at their home garden, planting and watering the plants. They now look like real siblings. Oh Soo teases her because she already has new boyfriend.

“Do you like Oppa so much?”

“Of course.”

“Then why you have new boyfriend? Augh, I’m so jealous.”

“Then get a girlfriend for yourself,” Oh Young remarks.

Oh Soo says he won’t because new girlfriend won’t be as pretty as her. Oh Young laughs at his cheesy lines. Shortly after, she gets a call from Joo Won and she lights up more.

Tal Tal is in a friend’s wedding, looking awkward because he only knows some people. He wonders if Seung Nyang doesn’t come today. He calls Seung Nyang who totally forgets about it. Seung Nyang asks if it’s okay to come now, but Tal Tal advises her not to come since it will end soon. She scolds him that he doesn’t remind her sooner. He can’t help but laugh because she usually remember that kind of thing. He then invites her for a coffee tomorrow after work and she agrees.

Ta Hwan is driving but his mind is on Seung Nyang. He feels uneasy and decides to turn around and goes to Seung Nyang’s house once again. Once he reaches her neighbourhood, he’s hesitant to enter the house and weighs in his situation. Nam Hoon comes from behind and pats his shoulder.

“Hyung! Why are you here?”

“Ah, Nam Hoon you loves to surprise anyone, heh?”

Nam Hoon asks if he wants to meet his sister. Ta Hwan hesitantly nods but he’s anxious if he also meets their father. Nam Hoon says his sister is not home. But soon after, Seung Nyang comes and asks what happened. Ta Hwan suddenly hugs her, making her surprised but then she hugs him back. Ta Hwan says sorry not understanding her father’s position. He can’t promise he won’t meet her again but he won’t stay still. Seung Nyang tells him she knows and she won’t just be quiet. Nam Hoon interrupts at how he’s so uncomfortable seeing two love birds in front of his eyes. Seung Nyang shuses him and gives him signal to leave. Nam Hoon has no option but to leave now.

Seung Nyang then looks at Ta Hwan and says,

“Hey, Kim Ta Hwan! Very handsome Kim Ta Hwan. Ta Hwan who suffers misfortune because of me, I like you, sincerely.”

“You’re so cute. Who says I’m suffering misfortune? You are the most fortunate thing I have in the world,” Ta Hwan replies.

Seung Nyang smiles and they look at each other with moony eyes. She asks him to leave now, before they get into trouble. Ta Hwan agrees but makes her promise to call him everyday if they can’t meet. Ta Hwan leaves with happy smiles, but he still needs to know the reason behind Sam Gwan losing the job.

Oh Soo buys ice cream at a street vendor when suddenly Gong Shil joins him. He buys her ice cream and he asks what she’s going to do. She just takes a walk a little bit because her work makes her stress. He wonders if she eats ice cream to release stress and she nods. He thinks she’s cute because he also knows a person also eating ice cream to release stress. She asks who is it but he doesn’t answer. Both of them starts sharing story while eating ice cream. 

The next morning Joo Won calls Joong Won if he has already met his sister. Joong Won raises his eyebrow and asks who’s his sister. Joo Won chuckles and says he’s not smart enough if he can’t guess it. 

“Too bad, my sister would probably already hacked the system and stole important data,” Joo Won says in arrogant.

“Who is your sister, jerk?!!”

Secretary Kim barges into his office says it’s emergency now and many data has been stolen. Joong Won gets mad and asks him to bring all new employees here and takes immediate measures to stop losing more data. A staff comes and says Bel Ami is nowhere to be found. Joong Won scolds the staffs for not properly prevent the problem. Joong Won asks who hires Bel Ami and they says that Ta Hwan did it. 

Joong Won calls Ta Hwan and tells him to come to office right now or he’ll be kicked out for real for creating a mess. Ta Hwan is in the car with his mother. He's still unhappy that his mother kicks out Sam Gwan. But after Joong Won's call they look worried over what comes at the office.
