Empress Ki 2: Episode 67

Paeha listens to Hwanghu Mama and TilTil's explanation about the new tactics. Since they only have limited armors now, they have to delay the attack and try to buy some time to call added army from Yuan palace. They also will use "divide and conquer" tactic to destroy the enemies. Paeha seems satisfied with the tactics. Now to the first move. They have to talk to both Shilla and Goryeo leaders. They have to spread rumors on both camps. Ayu agrees to talk to Seondeok. While Mamanim and TilTil will talk to Hwon.

Ayu meets Seondeok but she's still mad at him because he choose TilTil over him. But Ayu uses his charm to try win her heart. He starts rumor that Goryeo actually only wants to take advantage from Shilla. If they win, they'll conquer Shilla. Seondeok doesn't believe him easily. But Ayu gives evidence that now both Jeongjo and Hwon train themselves and the soldiers even in the middle of war. If not for another war, then for what? Seondeok is wavering. While Ayu smirks quietly.

On the other hand, Mamanim and TilTil meet Hwon. They ask him for drinks. After drinking they ask him to play gayageum. It reminds Mamanim a bit to her Goryeo land and her Cheona who used to play instrument. Mamanim asks Hwon if he knows of her Goryeo origin. She tells him, she doesn't want to fight against Goryeo, her original homeland. It would be better if Goryeo and Yuan join forces and defeat Shilla. TilTil also entertains Hwon with a dance, so Hwon can't refuse the offer. Hwon easily agrees to the plan.

Seondeok walks around the Goryeo camp. She sees Jeongjo really doing archery training. She starts to believe in Ayu. She wants to ask for Bidam's opinion on this matter.

While on Yuan camp, Mamanim asks Paeha to visit her tent every night. 

She just said it's for very important reason and leave Paeha clueless. Paeha is confused with Mamanim's request. Paeha minds wandering far far away. "So 3 times a week isn't enough for her?" he thinks.

That night Paeha takes a bath. He breaths deeply and wants to stay focus. Paeha cleans every inch of his body. He also use flower scent perfume before goes to Mamanim's tent.

Paeha gets going to Mamanim's tent. He also meets Ayu and Tiltil who take a stroll that night.
Paeha: "Ah, this night must be romantic"

Paeha enters Mamanim chamber. She wears white dress prettily. Paeha is nervous but Mamanim wakes him up from reality. They're here not for fun but for camouflage. They have to be here every night so the enemies think Yuan is slacking and don't even try to win. But when the enemies are careless, Yuan attack them at their weakest time. Paeha is upset with this plan. He already has plan for other "thing". He throws tantrum to Mamanim.

To appease Paeha, Mamanim lets him hug her. Paeha wants something else but Mamanim tells him to just sleep here or back to his tent alone. Paeha choose the former although he can't sleep well that night.

In the morning Hwon goes to Yuan camp. He considers them as an ally now. He can break the alliance with Shilla. But Yuan can't support Goryeo for now because they don't have armors and enough soldiers. Hwon arrogantly believes Goryeo still can defeat Shilla. War between Shilla and Goryeo.

Shilla is leading because they have better resources and there's Bidam and Yushin. Goryeo wants to stop the war now before they lose and Hwon and Jeonjo be killed. While on Yuan camp they watch the war with interest. Their strategy is a success. Now that Shilla seems stronger, Mamanim wonders if they should join forces with Shilla. They also receive great news. Paeha meets new Yuan soldiers sent from Yuan palace.

Paeha: "Now the war is only in the beginning. We must destroy them once and for all. We must win!"
